Introducing Wake Club 305: Miami’s Local Wakeboard & Wakefoil Club

wakeboard coaching Miami

Summer in Miami means slower mornings, hot afternoons, and — if you’re a local — usually the same handful of weekend plans on repeat. This year, we wanted to give Miami locals a reason to try something new: Wake Club 305.

Wake Club 305 is a weekly coaching program built specifically for locals who want to learn or improve at wakeboarding or wakefoiling, at rates that make it realistic to do regularly instead of as a once-a-summer splurge.

What it actually is

Wake Club 305 sessions run 1-2 hours, including a focused 25-minute coaching block with a USA Waterski & Wakeboard certified Level 1 Coach who has 30 years of on-the-water experience. Groups are kept small — a maximum of 4 riders per session — so you’re not waiting around for your turn behind the boat. You choose whether you want to work on wakeboarding, wakefoiling, or both, and every session is fully insured.

Why summer is the right time to start

Warm water, long daylight hours, and generally calmer conditions make summer the easiest season to actually learn something new on the water. There’s no cold-water gear to deal with, no rushing to beat the sunset, and the consistency of summer mornings means sessions can be scheduled reliably week to week — which matters if you’re trying to build a skill instead of just having one fun outing.

Who it’s for

Wake Club 305 is built for exactly two kinds of locals: people who’ve never wakeboarded or wakefoiled and want a real introduction with proper coaching instead of just getting handed a rope, and people who already ride but want to get noticeably better — cleaner wake crossings, learning to ride switch, finally standing up on a foil, or just riding with more confidence. Coaching is tailored to whichever one you are.

What it costs

A single 25-minute coaching session is $115. A 5-session package brings that down to $95/session ($475 total), and a 10-session package brings it down to $85/session ($850 total) — the kind of pricing that makes “let’s do this every week” actually doable.

How it works

Pick-up is available in both Miami and Miami Beach, so getting to a session doesn’t have to be a production. Book a single session to try it out, or jump straight into a package if you already know you want to make this a regular thing.

We get asked a lot of the same questions about Wake Club 305 — how much it costs, whether you need experience, how big the groups are. We’ve put together a full FAQ on the Wake Club 305 page, but the short version is: no experience required, groups stay small, and pricing drops the more you ride.

Wake Club 305 is run by Watersports Paradise, the same Miami-based team behind years of boat tours, lessons, and watersports experiences on Biscayne Bay. The same insured, professionally coached standard that visitors fly in for is now available to locals on a weekly, budget-friendly basis.

If you’ve been meaning to finally learn to wakeboard, curious about wakefoiling, or just want a reason to get on the water more this summer, Wake Club 305 is exactly that reason.
